Supernatural Competition Smashes Disney+ Viewing Records

Supernatural reality competition "Battle of Fates" has achieved record-breaking viewership on Disney+ in Korea. The series debuted on February 11, 2026, and has since surpassed the previous premiere benchmark set by "Moving" in 2023.

Within its first 12 days, "Battle of Fates" also secured the position of the top-performing new series of 2026 across Disney+'s Asia Pacific region. The streamer has confirmed that preparations for local versions of the show in other markets are currently in progress.

The competition draws its contestants from practitioners of Korea's rich spiritual and predictive arts, including fortune-tellers, tarot readers, and shamans. They compete by demonstrating the precision of their readings, with elimination rounds narrowing the field. The season finale, which crowned Korea's top fate reader from an original 49 contestants, was made available exclusively on Disney+.
