Batman II Production Halted: Pattinson Teases Big Swings

The production of The Batman Part II has encountered a temporary pause, as director Matt Reeves is currently focusing on a personal family matter. DC Studios has confirmed the suspension, stating that Reeves has their full support and they anticipate resuming production soon. Robert Pattinson, reprising his role as Batman, commented on the situation, indicating that the team will "figure it all out" before continuing.

Pattinson also teased elements of the sequel, describing the script as "extraordinary" and promising a movie that is "very, very different" from its predecessor. He noted that the film is taking "big swings," which he finds intriguing. The cast includes returning actors such as Andy Serkis as Alfred and Colin Farrell as Penguin, alongside new additions. As of now, The Batman Part II remains on track for its release date of February 18, 2028.
