Batman Sequel Delayed to 2028!

The release of 'The Batman Part II' has been postponed to February 18, 2028, delaying Robert Pattinson's return as the Caped Crusader. Director Matt Reeves cited the need for additional time to complete the film's extensive post-production and visual effects work. This revised schedule means audiences will wait approximately six years between the first film's March 2022 release and its sequel.

Reeves shared the first camera test footage of Pattinson in an updated suit, sparking fan discussion about the character's iconic ears. The film's delay is part of a broader reshuffle of Warner Bros.' theatrical slate, with JJ Abrams' 'The Great Beyond' now occupying the original October 1, 2027 release date. Returning cast members include Pattinson, Andy Serkis, and Colin Farrell, alongside new additions like Scarlett Johansson and Sebastian Stan. Other Warner Bros. films, such as Sam Esmail's 'Panic Carefully,' have also had their release dates adjusted.
