Barry Manilow has announced the postponement of his upcoming Westgate Las Vegas residency, originally slated for February 12-21. This decision comes after the singer underwent surgery in December to address a cancerous spot on his lung.
Manilow shared on Wednesday that he is recovering well and has been exercising and spending time in the studio. However, on his doctor's recommendation, he has opted to reschedule the Las Vegas dates to allow for further rest and preparation for his upcoming arena tour.
Tickets for the postponed residency will be fully refunded. Manilow is now expected to return to the Westgate Las Vegas on March 26, 27, and 28. His extensive arena tour is still set to commence on February 27 in Tampa, Florida, and will visit numerous cities across the country before concluding on April 29 in Duluth, Georgia.
Adding to his recent successes, Manilow's September release, "Once Before I Go," has entered the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart. This marks a significant career milestone, occurring over 50 years after his initial chart appearance with "Mandy" in 1974.
