Summary

- He is recovering from Stage 1 lung cancer surgery.
- Manilow expects to return to the stage in July.

Barry Manilow has postponed his May Las Vegas residency dates due to his ongoing recovery from lung cancer surgery. The 82-year-old artist confirmed he is making significant progress and anticipates returning to the Westgate stage in July, though he is not yet ready for his scheduled May performances.
This postponement follows a series of delays since Manilow revealed his Stage 1 lung cancer diagnosis in December 2025. He underwent surgery to remove a cancerous spot from his left lung and has been recovering since. His previously scheduled February, March, and April dates were also postponed on his doctor's advice.
Despite these health challenges, Manilow remains committed to his career. His Las Vegas residency at Westgate is set to continue through December 2026, and his farewell arena tour, 'The Last Concerts,' has rescheduled dates planned. Manilow recently had a top 10 hit with his new single "Once Before I Go" and is set to release his first album of new material in nearly 15 years, 'What a Time,' on June 5.
