Oscar Winner Barry Levinson Joins United Talent Agency

Oscar, Emmy, DGA, and WGA-winning writer and director Barry Levinson is now represented by United Talent Agency (UTA) in all areas. Levinson boasts six Oscar nominations and an Oscar win for 'Rain Man.' His directorial filmography includes classics such as 'Good Morning, Vietnam,' 'Bugsy,' 'The Natural,' 'Avalon,' and 'Diner.'

In the past year, Levinson directed and produced 'The Alto Knights,' starring Robert DeNiro, and served as an executive producer for the Emmy-nominated limited series 'Dopesick.' His extensive television credits also include executive producing Showtime's 'City on a Hill,' NBC's 'Shades of Blue,' and the HBO series 'Oz.'

Levinson continues to produce through his company, Baltimore Pictures, which has been behind acclaimed projects like 'Homicide: Life on the Streets' and 'Donnie Brasco.' He initially gained recognition as a writer, earning Emmy Awards for his work on 'The Carol Burnett Show' and co-writing films with Mel Brooks. His directorial debut with 'Diner' earned him an Oscar nomination for Original Screenplay.
