In June 2026, a unique handheld gaming device will launch, offering players the chance to experience classic titles, including the N64's Banjo-Kazooie, with a D-pad. The Super Pocket Rare Edition, developed by HyperMegaTech! in partnership with Rare Ltd., will come pre-loaded with 14 games from the renowned British developer. Among the classics are multiple Battletoads titles and Conker's Pocket Tales.
The Banjo-Kazooie experience has been specifically optimized for this new handheld. Given that HyperMegaTech! and Evercade share the same parent company, Blaze Entertainment, the Super Pocket Rare Edition will be fully compatible with existing Evercade cartridges. This allows users to expand their game collection with titles from other franchises like Taito, NeoGeo, and Atari. The device is set to be available for $69.99, with preorders already open.
