Over its opening weekend, 'Balan: The Boy' has amassed a total net collection of ₹7.17 crore in India. The film opened with ₹1.82 crore net on Friday, climbed to ₹2.35 crore on Saturday, and concluded the weekend with ₹3.00 crore on Sunday. This steady growth in collections was reflected in its audience occupancy rates, which improved each day.
The Malayalam version of the film was particularly successful, accounting for ₹2.90 crore of Sunday's earnings and achieving an impressive 52% occupancy across 1,002 shows. Other language versions, including Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi, contributed smaller amounts. Overall occupancy for the Malayalam version on Sunday reached 54.05%, with evening shows seeing the highest turnout.
Geographically, Kerala was the highest contributor on Sunday, generating ₹2.65 crore gross. Karnataka followed with ₹35 lakhs, while Tamil Nadu added ₹23 lakhs. Andhra Pradesh and Telangana contributed ₹10 lakhs, with the rest of India accounting for ₹15 lakhs in collections on the same day.
