Veteran actor Nandamuri Balakrishna recently visited the Kashi Vishwanath temple in Varanasi to offer prayers for the auspicious success of his upcoming film, 'Akhanda 2'. During his visit, Balakrishna shared profound reflections on his extensive career, spanning over four decades. He articulated that cinema transcends mere acting, serving as a powerful medium to forge connections with people worldwide.
Balakrishna also evoked the wisdom of his late father, NT Rama Rao, quoting him: "My father used to say that this society is like a temple and people are like god in it and I am a priest who is there to serve them." He was accompanied by the film's director, Boyapati Sreenu. The sequel follows the immense success of 'Akhanda', which was released on December 12.
The film 'Akhanda 2' is reportedly centered on the principles of Sanatam Dharma and its relevance today, with Balakrishna portraying a guardian of Hinduism. The trailer introduces Aadhi Pinisetty as a formidable mystic character capable of summoning a skeletal entity. The movie is a joint production by 14 Reels Plus and IVY Entertainment.
