The nominations for this year's Bafta Games Awards have been announced, with Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 emerging as the dominant force. The French-developed role-playing adventure earned an impressive 12 nominations, positioning it as a strong contender for best game, best music, and best narrative.
Other notable titles recognized include the superhero adventure Dispatch with nine nominations and the PlayStation 5 exclusive Ghost of Yōtei, which received eight nods. Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, despite its December 2024 release, also secured six nominations.
However, the list also features surprising omissions. Highly anticipated indie titles such as Hollow Knight: Silksong and Hades 2 received minimal nominations, while the acclaimed Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 earned only two.

Charlie Cox, Ben Starr, and Jennifer English are recognized for their roles in Expedition 33, while Troy Baker received two nominations for his performances in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle and Death Stranding 2.
British developers are well-represented, with nine studios nominated, including Atomfall and Powerwash Simulator 2. The Game Beyond Entertainment category features international titles addressing significant themes, such as Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl, developed by a Ukrainian team. The winners will be revealed on April 17.
