This marks a significant achievement, making it the most awarded Super Bowl halftime show in Emmy history, surpassing Kendrick Lamar's 2022 performance which garnered three awards.

Despite initial pushback regarding his selection, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell defended the choice, noting that criticism of Super Bowl performers is common. Jay-Z's Roc Nation, the NFL's official live music entertainment strategist, highlighted Bad Bunny's inspiring impact on Puerto Rico as a key factor in his selection for the global stage.

The Creative Arts Emmys, where these awards were presented, are not broadcast live, but highlights are scheduled to air on FXX on Saturday, September 12. The main Emmy Awards ceremony will be hosted by Mariska Hargitay on Monday, September 14.
