Raghav and Prachi, once immersed in high-stress finance careers, have transitioned to a soulful pursuit as India's 'Backstage Siblings.' Their journey began over a year ago, driven by a desire to share the magical energy of music they experienced in childhood satsangs. They aim to create inclusive spaces where people connect through singing, moving beyond formal training to embrace heartfelt expression.
Their sessions, designed as intimate 'baithaks,' welcome participation in singing Bollywood hits, bhajans, and poetry, emphasizing the audience's central role. Raghav and Prachi believe their gatherings offer a unique, alcohol-free 'high' derived from communal music and vibrations. Attendees, predominantly Gen Z individuals aged 18 to 35, find a space for emotional release and intergenerational connection, with families often attending together.
The 'Backstage Siblings' have garnered global recognition, completing an India tour across six cities and performing internationally in Singapore and Dubai. They are set to embark on a US tour scheduled for April-May. Their unique approach has touched many, including a 70-year-old woman who expressed profound gratitude after attending a floor-seated session despite physical challenges.
