Bachelorette Star's Season Pulled: Will Fans See Her Show?

Taylor Frankie Paul remains hopeful that her season of The Bachelorette will eventually be released, expressing gratitude for fan support. A petition on Change.org has been initiated, advocating for ABC to air the footage.

Paul, 32, was announced as the lead for season 22 in fall 2025, with the premiere scheduled for March. However, ABC pulled the season days before its debut following the leak of a 2023 video showing Paul throwing chairs at her ex-boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen, in front of her daughter. This incident occurred amid a domestic violence investigation.

Paul pleaded guilty to assault in 2023 and was placed on probation. She shares three children: Indy, 8, and Ocean, 6, with ex-husband Tate Paul, and Ever, 2, with Mortensen, 33.

A Disney Entertainment spokesperson stated at the time, "In light of the newly released video... we have made the decision to not move forward with the new season... Our focus is on supporting the family."

Paul's representative stated she was grateful for ABC's support and was prioritizing her family's safety, seeking protection from further harm by her ex-partner. The statement highlighted her courage in facing abuse and retaliation.

Mortensen denied the allegations in an April social media statement, stating his focus was on his son and creating a stable environment.

Utah police did not press charges against Paul, who recently completed her three-year probation sentence. ABC has not announced any plans to air her season.
