The future of The Bachelorette is in question following the abrupt cancellation of Taylor Frankie Paul's season by ABC. "Tens of millions" of dollars are reportedly at risk, prompting speculation about how the network will proceed.
Recent reports suggest that Maura Higgins is being considered to step in as the new Bachelorette for a live-shot season. This potential pivot aims to revive interest after other concepts were reportedly shelved.
However, contrasting insider information indicates that the franchise may be facing complete termination. Executives are allegedly debating whether to scrap the show entirely, citing past low ratings and a desire for a fresh start.
