New Bachelor Party trailer drops, critics question cast

Amal Neerad's upcoming film, 'Bachelor Party D'eux', has released its trailer, sparking divided reactions from audiences. The film introduces a new ensemble cast, including Naslen, Tovino Thomas, and Kunchacko Boban, stepping into the world of the 2012 movie 'Bachelor Party'. The trailer has garnered attention for its action sequences and sleek presentation.

However, a significant portion of the audience has voiced concerns about the new cast's ability to match the original film's iconic screen presence. Comments such as "No one has an aura" reflect this sentiment, while others defend the new actors, arguing for a fresh perspective after 14 years. The film is anticipated to be an action-comedy and crime thriller with a gold-smuggling backdrop.

The 2-minute-and-11-second trailer offers glimpses of confrontations and the backstreets of Kochi, keeping the central plot largely under wraps. While initially scheduled for a theatrical release on November 19, 2026, this date remains unconfirmed following the trailer launch. The title 'D'eux', meaning 'two' in French, suggests a connection to its predecessor, though it promises a fresh narrative.
