Courtney Robertson recently alleged that Trista Sutter treated her poorly at a Bachelor Nation event held at the Malibu Bachelor Mansion. Robertson, 43, stated that many people offered support to her after her season, but Sutter did not give her the "time of day" and treated her "like scum." Sutter, 53, expressed shock at the accusation and denied treating Robertson like "scum."
Sutter recalled sending Robertson an email with the subject line "Olive branch" when she learned about Robertson's 2014 book, "Confessions of a Reality Show Villain." Sutter stated she was "truly so sorry that I hurt your feelings." Robertson apparently responded, "I fully accept your apology," and later read an email confirming her acceptance of the apology.
The two reality stars found themselves on a trip to Lake Tahoe with iHeartRadio recently. Robertson explained she needed "space" due to her ongoing public divorce from Humberto Preciado, stating she had been experiencing "panic attacks all day." Robertson felt it was "greedy" to try to hash out their past issues during this time.
A producer for the podcast "Almost Famous" chimed in, clarifying that the intention of the taping was "resolution," not conflict. Sutter offered empathy to Robertson regarding her divorce, stating she feels "maternal towards anyone who has been on this show." Robertson concluded by saying she and Sutter clash due to "two totally different experiences" and personality types, and that she is "over it."
