In a significant real estate move, Nikhil Nanda, the husband of Amitabh Bachchan's daughter Shweta Bachchan, has acquired a lavish apartment in Mumbai's upscale Juhu area for approximately ₹28 crore. The deal, registered on October 16, 2025, was executed by Nanda's sister, Nitasha Nanda, acting as the Power of Attorney holder.
The newly acquired property spans 3,139 sq ft, with an additional 411 sq ft terrace area, totaling around 3,550 sq ft. The apartment also comes with three car parking spaces. This purchase adds to the Bachchan family's existing footprint in Juhu, as Amitabh Bachchan's bungalows, Prateeksha and Jalsa, are also located in the same neighborhood.
In other news, Agastya Nanda, the son of Shweta Bachchan and Nikhil Nanda, is set to make his acting debut in the upcoming film 'Ikkis', directed by Sriram Raghavan and also starring veteran actor Dharmendra. Agastya's foray into the film industry follows his recent appearance on the popular television show 'Kaun Banega Crorepati', where he was seen promoting his debut project 'The Archies' alongside co-stars and filmmaker Zoya Akhtar.
