9 Nov
Summary
- 'Baahubali: The Epic' had a strong opening of over ₹10 crore
- Box office collections dropped sharply from the first week to the second week
- Filmmaker Prashanth Neel praised director SS Rajamouli's vision

In November 2025, the much-awaited 'Baahubali: The Epic' hit theaters, starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, and Tamannaah Bhatia. The film, which combined both parts of the Baahubali universe, had a strong opening, earning over ₹10 crore on its first day.
However, the box office collections for 'Baahubali: The Epic' began to decline soon after. By the end of its first week, the film had crossed the ₹30 crore mark, but on its second Friday, it recorded its lowest earnings, making just ₹35 lakh across all language versions.
Despite the drop in collections, filmmaker Prashanth Neel expressed his admiration for the film and its director, SS Rajamouli. Neel praised Rajamouli's vision, likening the film to a 'Pan India superhighway' that has transformed the entertainment landscape.
As 'Baahubali: The Epic' continues its theatrical run, industry experts will be closely watching to see if the film can regain its momentum and recapture the audience's attention in the coming weeks.
