Baahubali Enters Eternal War in New Animated Film

Baahubali: The Eternal War, an animated spin-off set in the Baahubali universe, will be featured in the Annecy International Film Festival's Work in Progress lineup this June. The CGI feature follows the murdered Prince Baahubali into the afterlife, where he engages in an eternal conflict between Devas and Asuras, fundamentally altering the cosmos.
The prestigious Annecy festival will also present other upcoming animated features. These include Apple TV's second Peanuts-inspired film, Snoopy Unleashed, and Netflix's Cinderella spin-off, Steps. European productions like the French-Luxembourgish-Swiss co-production Séraphine and Benjamin Massoubre's The Wolf will also be showcased.
Additional international projects include the Georgian-Greek adaptation Igi and Cécile Mclorin Salvant's musical Ogresse. Japan's Toei Animation will present Monkey Quest and Kazuaki Kuribayashi's anime Killtube. Sixteen projects will be showcased in total, including three series, with the festival running from June 23 to 26.
