In the coming weeks, Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana will be busy with two major projects. First, he is gearing up for the release of his horror comedy film Thamma on October 21. Then, just 10 days after that, Khurrana will begin filming for a new family drama directed by acclaimed filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya.
The untitled Sooraj Barjatya film is a joint production between Rajshri Productions and Mahaveer Jain Films. The two production houses had previously worked together on the 2022 film Uunchai, and they are reuniting for this new romantic family entertainer. Joining Khurrana in the cast is actress Sharvari, who is also preparing for the release of her upcoming film Alpha, part of the YRF Spy Universe.
According to sources, the Sooraj Barjatya project is set to begin filming on November 1. It will feature the director's signature style of heartwarming family narratives. Khurrana, known for his versatility, is expected to bring his own unique touch to the film and connect with a wider audience.
