Emraan Hashmi's upcoming film, Awarapan 2, has achieved a significant pre-opening record, marking the third highest BookMyShow pre-sale for a Bollywood movie in 2026. The film's advance ticket sales reached a total of 289.71K on BookMyShow. This impressive figure places Awarapan 2 behind only Dhurandhar 2 and Border 2 in the 2026 pre-sale rankings.
Notably, Awarapan 2 surpassed the pre-sales of major films such as Salman Khan's Sikandar, which recorded 281K tickets, and Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar, with 224K tickets. The film experienced a phenomenal surge in sales, with a staggering 181.6K tickets sold on August 13th alone, pushing its total beyond expectations.
The advance ticket sales saw consistent growth from August 10th, starting at 7.02K and climbing steadily. This strong performance has also led to Awarapan 2 pushing films like Cocktail 2 out of the top 5 pre-sales for 2026, underscoring the film's unexpected success in the advance booking market.
