Awarapan 2: Bollywood's 3rd Biggest Wednesday

Awarapan 2 is demonstrating a robust performance at the Indian box office during its initial weekdays. The film is anticipated to secure the third-highest first Wednesday collection among Bollywood releases in 2026. This projection comes after a strong opening weekend and a notable surge on "Blockbuster Tuesday," driven by discounted ticket offers.

Exhibitors have increased the show count for Awarapan 2, adding 487 more shows from Tuesday to Wednesday, bringing the total to 11,500. This expansion is a significant jump from its opening day's show count of 9,122.

The film's advance bookings for its sixth day, Wednesday, have grossed 2.65 crore. While this represents a 30.8% decrease from the 3.83 crore earned on day five, it's still considered a decent figure. Awarapan 2 is expected to earn approximately 8 crore on its first Wednesday, potentially surpassing the first-day collections of films like Dhamaal 4 and Welcome To The Jungle.
