Avijit Dutta Unveils "Blueprint" Drawing Exhibition

Visual artist Avijit Dutta is presenting his group show, "Blueprint," at Mehak Bhan's gallery from December 5, 2025, to January 6, 2026. This exhibition marks Dutta's inaugural appearance in the Tricity art scene, with the artist serving as both curator and conceptualizer. The show is a dedicated celebration of drawings, which Dutta describes as a reservoir of emotional and creative awakening for artists.

Mehak Bhan highlighted that "Blueprint" coincides with the gallery's five-year anniversary, positioning the exhibition as a significant event to close the year. The curation aims to bring together prominent Indian contemporary artists, emphasizing the intimate yet foundational nature of drawing, an art form rarely given the spotlight it deserves. The gallery seeks to provide viewers with an up-close experience of this raw, thinking-on-paper quality.

The exhibition features a diverse roster of artists, including Ankon Miotran, Asit Poddar, Gigi Scaria, and many others. It also includes works from an artist collective comprising Anjolie Ela Menon and Jogen Chowdhury, alongside a Masters Collection featuring pieces by Ganesh Pyne and Manjit Bawa, underscoring the show's breadth and artistic significance.
