Summary
- New Avicii wax figure unveiled at Madame Tussauds Las Vegas.
- Figure depicts Avicii behind the decks, a familiar iconic pose.
- This tribute coincides with the upcoming EDC Las Vegas festival.

Madame Tussauds in Las Vegas unveiled a new wax figure of Avicii on Thursday, May 14, 2026. The figure is designed to capture the producer in a memorable pose: behind the decks, wearing a flannel button-down shirt and a backward baseball cap, with his right hand raised and a smile. This latest tribute follows a similar figure that debuted at Madame Tussauds in New York in 2019, though the Las Vegas version features a different colored flannel shirt.
The unveiling in Las Vegas strategically precedes the Electronic Daisy Carnival (EDC) Las Vegas, a major festival expected to draw over 200,000 dance music fans to the city. Gabriel Hewitt, GM of Madame Tussauds Las Vegas, stated in a press release that Avicii "truly embodies everything that the Las Vegas nightlife scene is known for." He added that the figure is a perfect fit for the location and allows guests to "relive Avicii's stand out performances and pay tribute to his life." The New York wax figure was originally created in collaboration with Avicii's parents. The producer, whose real name was Tim Bergling, passed away by suicide on April 20, 2018, making the recent April 20, 2026, marking the eighth anniversary of his death.
