Stephen Lang and Sam Worthington, known for their roles in James Cameron's 'Avatar' franchise, are set to star together in the upcoming crime thriller 'Eyes Along The Way'. Directed by Kriv Stenders, the film will shoot in New South Wales, Australia.
Worthington and Luke Bracey portray two determined detectives in 1950s Australia. They embark on a series of missing person cases that draw them to a vast, remote ranch in the Outback. Isolated and grappling with personal struggles, the partners inadvertently discover they are being targeted by a highly intelligent and elusive serial killer.
Stephen Lang will play the serial killer, a character described as scarred by war and hidden for decades. The film promises a tense atmosphere, grand environmental settings, and escalating suspense as the detectives find themselves becoming the prey.
'Eyes Along The Way' re-teams several individuals from the 2019 film 'Danger Close', including director Kriv Stenders and producers John and Michael Schwarz. The screenplay was penned by Luke Bracey, Johnny McCoy, and Timothy Burnett.
Renowned director Kriv Stenders also helmed the popular 'Red Dog' franchise and has a notable body of work in Australian cinema. Architects is handling worldwide sales for the film ahead of its premiere at Cannes.
