Australia has sent its inaugural delegation to EAVE's Ties That Bind, a prominent European-Asian co-production training program. Filmmakers Ana Tiwary and Katrina Irawati Graham, representing indiVisual films - international, are participating in the annual session held in Udine, Italy, concurrent with the Far East Film Festival and Focus Asia until April 30.
This initiative, active for over 15 years, is designed by EAVE (European Audiovisual Entrepreneurs) to foster co-productions between Europe and Asia. Tiwary and Graham are developing a portfolio of projects involving collaborations between Australia and countries including Indonesia, Myanmar, South Korea, Nepal, France, and Germany.
The program gathers 15 participants, offering them sessions with key buyers, financiers, and co-production partners from both regions. Australian industry development specialist Sheree Ramage facilitated the delegation's attendance. The participation is supported by Screen Australia and Screen Queensland, highlighting Australia's commitment to global cinematic engagement.
