The cult franchise Attack of the Killer Tomatoes is set to continue with its fifth installment, Organic Intelligence. This new film will be available on VOD platforms starting September 22, following its theatrical debut on August 7. Directed by David Ferino, the comedy is a product of a distribution partnership between Starboard Entertainment and Stonecutter Media.

Organic Intelligence delves into the story of a biotech prodigy whose revolutionary genetically engineered vegetable, intended to solve global issues, goes awry. This experiment unleashes a new wave of killer tomatoes, igniting another unpredictable adventure in the beloved saga. The production was filmed in Southern California and features a notable cast, including John Astin reprising his role as Professor Gangreen, alongside Eric Roberts and Catherine Corcoran.

Steven Karel, President of Stonecutter Media, expressed enthusiasm for the film fitting their distribution model for edgy content. Thomas Zambeck of Starboard Entertainment highlighted the film's established fanbase and unique identity as key factors in their collaboration.
