Filmmaker Atlee has generated excitement among fans by hinting at a possible future collaboration with Tamil superstar Rajinikanth. During a recent media interaction for his production 'Baththa,' Atlee confirmed he has considered working with the actor but stressed his deliberate pace in selecting projects.
Atlee explained his filmmaking philosophy, stating he concentrates fully on one project at a time, citing 'Theri' and 'Mersal' as examples of his sequential approach. He revealed plans for a two-month hiatus after the release of his current directorial, 'Raaka,' starring Allu Arjun and Deepika Padukone.
This break will be dedicated to analyzing 'Raaka,' understanding its successes and shortcomings, before finalizing his next move. This methodical process suggests that any film with Rajinikanth, while a possibility, is not an immediate undertaking.
Currently, Atlee's primary focus remains on the completion of 'Raaka,' described as a large-scale science-fiction and fantasy entertainer. The film has achieved recognition for its innovative real-time motion capture technology, further underscoring Atlee's commitment to his current project.
