Actress Asha Sharath, known for her role as IG Geetha Prabhakar, recently detailed her unconventional love story with her husband, Sharath. Their romance began through a year-long exchange of letters, a method Asha described as "unique and old-school." This deep emotional connection developed without any in-person meetings.

Sharath's interest in Asha was first communicated to her brother, Venu, who played a pivotal role in their relationship. After meeting Sharath in the Gulf and observing Asha's dance performance, Sharath expressed his desire to marry her to his mother. He later conveyed his feelings to Asha's brother, who approved of Sharath's disciplined nature.

The couple's parents were the first to meet, staying for several days. Asha herself met Sharath in person only a few days before their wedding ceremony. Despite the lack of initial physical meetings, their bond remained strong, with daily communication continuing even now.

Asha Sharath is also preparing to return as IG Geetha Prabhakar in the upcoming film 'Drishyam 3', scheduled for release on May 21.
