Her former house help, Sunam Salve, who worked for her for over four decades, shared fond memories of Bhosle's down-to-earth nature and the respect she showed to all, including her staff from humble backgrounds.
Salve recounted that Bhosle often visited her village and never denied leave requests, highlighting her compassionate personality. The news of Bhosle's hospitalization had caused worry, and her demise has deeply saddened those who knew her personally.
Another former domestic worker, Pushpa Navar, who also worked for Lata Mangeshkar, expressed profound grief. She described Bhosle as very kind, treating her staff like family and showering them with love.
