Set in the 1850s, The Artful Dodger continues the story of Jack Dawkins, a former Royal Navy surgeon seeking respectability as a doctor. His past resurfaces with the return of Fagin, forcing Jack, once the notorious pickpocket known as the Artful Dodger, back into a life of crime.
Jack forms a connection with Lady Belle Fox, who is determined to become a surgeon despite societal constraints. As Jack's past collides with his present, external forces threaten his aspirations, questioning his ability to truly reshape his life.
The new season sees Jack facing the gallows and being hunted by Inspector Boxer. Meanwhile, Belle is driven by ambition and love to pursue her medical dreams, even as Boxer vies for her affection.
