An exhibition titled 'As Below, So Above' offers a contemporary perspective on epic tales, prominently featuring the meticulous line drawings of senior artist Raghupati Bhat. Pawan captures traditional wrestling houses, while Bhanu Prakash uses wood inlay for texture and color. Ranganatha revives signboard art with a painted Kannada proverb, illustrating that mythology is not confined to museums but lives in diverse aspects of daily life.
Prakash intentionally reversed the phrase "As above, so below" to "As Below, So Above," reflecting the exhibition's grounding in human experience. She notes that Bengaluru's evolving nature and its residents' openness to traditional practices allow such art to flourish, giving it a unique vitality.
