Singer's whirlwind music release: Highs and lows
27 Oct
Summary
- Singer released multiple songs across genres and languages recently.
- Balancing diverse musical projects demands intense mental switching.
- Long hours and creative challenges accompany rapid music releases.
Singer Armaan Malik described his recent experience of releasing four songs across languages and platforms in less than a month as a "whirlwind of emotions, demanding schedules and creative challenges." This unusual concentration of releases, occurring within a four-week window, offered a rewarding opportunity to connect with listeners through diverse musical styles.
While the vocal stamina required for back-to-back recording sessions is demanding, Malik identified the mental switching between distinct emotional approaches as the greater challenge. Transitioning from a grand Bollywood ballad to an intimate independent track, or incorporating South Indian phonetics, requires significant mental resets to ensure each song's authenticity.
