19 May
Summary
- Winter now rents a house with former co-star Nolan Gould in Los Angeles.
- This living arrangement follows Winter's recent breakup after nearly six years.
- Winter previously lived in Nashville and has now moved back to Los Angeles.
Ariel Winter has found a new living arrangement in Los Angeles, renting a house with her former "Modern Family" co-star, Nolan Gould. This development occurred shortly after Winter confirmed her breakup with Luke Benward, concluding a relationship of nearly six years. Winter had been residing in Nashville since 2022 but has now shifted her primary residence back to Los Angeles.
Winter shared that her new roommate is Gould, who portrayed her brother on "Modern Family." She expressed that seeing Gould daily feels like a "little "Modern Family" reboot." This transition marks a significant shift for Winter following her relationship's end and her years spent in Nashville. The bond between Winter and Gould remains strong, with Winter stating in May 2025 that they are extremely close and he is her best friend.
The cast of "Modern Family" shared a close relationship, and the series' conclusion in 2020 was difficult for Winter. She described the cast as feeling like a "real family" and found it strange to no longer see everyone regularly after the show ended. The current roommate situation with Gould represents a concrete post-series change, uniting two former sibling actors in a new cohabitation setting.
For those following Winter's personal life, her return to Los Angeles and new roommate arrangement with Gould are the most immediate and notable changes. This new living situation replaces the domestic setup she shared with Benward during their nearly six-year relationship, which ended just four days before May 18, 2026.
