Argentinian Author's "Unfit" Novel Optioned for Film Adaptation

Two years ago, bestselling Argentinian author Ariana Harwicz saw her first novel "Die, My Love" adapted for the screen. Now, her latest work "Unfit" is poised to receive the same treatment. The film rights to "Unfit" have been optioned by veteran Argentinian producer Pablo Bossi, who has produced some of the country's most iconic films over the past two decades.

"Unfit" is described as a subversive exploration of motherhood, following an Argentinian mother in France who has lost custody of her two sons. Driven by destitution and desperation, she sneaks into her in-laws' house, kidnaps her children, sets the barn ablaze, and goes on the run. The novel has been praised as "addictively terrifying, savagely sophisticated, and shockingly brilliant."
