On November 10th, 2025, architect and conservationist Vipul Varshney participated in an interactive session with Iskcon vice president Deendayal Krishna Prabhudas at the launch of a book on the temples of Awadh. Varshney shared his insights on the sacred essence of temple culture in India, stating that temples are not mere stone structures but a consciousness that never dies.
Varshney explained that temples are born out of devotion, preserved through faith, and sustained by the spiritual vibrations of countless prayers. He emphasized that temples are living spaces of faith and devotion, where architecture becomes a medium for consciousness to manifest. Varshney noted that the vibrations within temple walls are created not by carvings, but by centuries of devotion and chanting.
Deendayal Krishna Prabhudas praised Varshney's work on reviving awareness of Awadh's sacred geography and its timeless connection with the Ramayan and Mahabharat. He stated that rediscovering these spiritual centers helps modern society reconnect with its cultural and moral roots. Varshney's insights have shed new light on the profound role temples play in uniting communities across India.
