Arasan Promo Delayed for Anirudh's Magic

The release of the eight-minute promo for director Vetri Maaran's upcoming film 'Arasan,' featuring Silambarasan TR, has reportedly been rescheduled for December 4. This postponement is due to the outstanding background score by composer Anirudh Ravichander, which the team believes is crucial for the promo's intended impact. The dubbing work for the promo has been finalized by the main cast and director Vetri Maaran, whose voice-over connects the film to the 'Vada Chennai' universe.

Producer Kalaipuli S Thanu suggested releasing the promo with previously used music, but both Vetri Maaran and Silambarasan preferred waiting for Anirudh's original composition. The team is now considering a theatrical debut in over 1,000 locations worldwide, a significant expansion from earlier plans. The film 'Arasan' marks the first collaboration between Vetri Maaran and Silambarasan, set within the 'Vada Chennai' narrative universe.
