Apple Music Hall: London's New Live Music Hub

Apple Music has unveiled a new, cutting-edge music venue named Apple Music Hall at its London headquarters in Battersea Power Station. This 600-capacity space is engineered for artists to perform live, record shows in Spatial Audio with broadcast-ready mixes, and capture multi-camera video.

The venue features a flexible stage setup and an advanced 48-speaker spatial sound system. It also functions as a complete production facility, equipped with two professional-standard recording and mix studios. The space is hardwired for extensive camera feeds feeding a dedicated broadcast control room.

Apple Music Radio's London hosts and shows will also broadcast live from this new facility. Battersea Power Station itself has a rich musical history, famously appearing on Pink Floyd's 'Animals' album artwork and hosting past performances by Mumford & Sons and Sir Elton John.

The power station, originally completed in 1955, underwent significant redevelopment starting in 2012. Apple occupied a substantial portion of the building in 2022. Oliver Schusser, Apple's VP of Apple Music, stated the venue reinforces their commitment to supporting live music, while Zane Lowe highlighted it as a creative space for artists.
