Dohwa, a member of the K-pop group AOA, has expressed interest in a potential reunion for the now-inactive band. In a recent YouTube talk show appearance, she proposed the idea of a one-off anniversary show, clarifying that she envisions this as a brief celebration, not a full-scale comeback.
Dohwa stated that while she personally desires to do something like a 15th or 20th anniversary event, no discussions have yet occurred among the AOA members. She highlighted that each member is currently pursuing their individual paths; Seolhyun is active as an actress, Jimin continues to release solo music, and Yuna has recently become a mother. Dohwa also mentioned Hyejeong's current desire for distance.
AOA, whose acronym stands for 'Ace of Angels,' debuted in August 2012 and achieved success with hits like "Miniskirt" and "Heart Attack." Following several lineup changes, the group has been inactive since 2020, with all members having departed their original label.
