This event was part of Krishna Das's India tour, known for blending traditional Indian chants with Western musical styles to promote kirtan, a devotional singing practice.

The couple's attendance at the Mumbai kirtan is not their first shared spiritual experience. They previously attended a service at London's Union Chapel in July 2026 and have been noted for their affinity for events influenced by Neem Karoli Baba's teachings. While Anushka and Virat largely keep their family life private, often residing in London with their children, their public spiritual outings continue to attract attention.
