- Sinners is an Oscar-nominated Hollywood film directed by Ryan Coogler.

Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap has declared that the visual effects in his latest project, Nishaanchi, are of a higher caliber than those used in the Oscar-nominated Hollywood film Sinners. Kashyap elaborated on the intricate technical demands of Nishaanchi, particularly the portrayal of a dual role by actor Aaishvary Thackeray. He credited Sylvester and Red Chillies for their exceptional work, which allowed the twin characters, Babloo and Dabloo, to appear as distinct individuals despite being filmed months apart. This reliance on advanced visual effects was central to achieving the film's complex narrative. Nishaanchi sees Kashyap returning to his signature morally complex crime dramas, with Aaishvary Thackeray playing twin brothers whose lives spiral into crime and revenge. The ensemble cast includes Vedika Pinto and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub. Meanwhile, Sinners, directed by Ryan Coogler, has received 16 nominations for the 98th Academy Awards, including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Screenplay.
