Anupria Goenka: Professor vs. Zombies!

Anupria Goenka is stepping into a unique role as a professor in the upcoming horror-comedy 'IIZ: Indian Institute Of Zombies.' The film is notable for its rapid production cycle, with shooting concluding just months before its planned release on May 15. Goenka shared her excitement about playing a character who is not just an "eye candy" but an intelligent and empowering figure who leads students through a zombie crisis.

She described the experience of working with the young cast and directors Gaganjeet Singh and Alok Dwivedi as refreshing, particularly enjoying the college atmosphere. Although not a fan of the horror genre, Goenka studied 'Shaun Of The Dead' to prepare. Her character, Prof Braganza, is depicted as a youthful and empowering mentor, a role Goenka found fascinating due to its blend of seriousness within a comic and chaotic setting.
