Puerto Rican trap artist Anuel AA announced at Billboard Latin Music Week that he will release two albums by the end of 2026. The first, "RHLM 2," is a sequel to his 2018 debut and represents a return to his musical roots, blending trap and reggaeton.
This release signifies his first album in four years, reflecting a period of personal growth and family focus. Anuel AA expressed that "RHLM 2" was created from the heart, continuing the essence of his early career.
Additionally, Anuel AA teased a surprise album entirely composed of corridos, a genre he now deeply loves. He stated his intention to release this collection as a gift to Mexico, appreciating the raw, street-oriented nature of the music.
The artist also previewed new tracks from both projects, including the reggaeton heartbreak song "Ya Perdió la Fe" and the street-anthem trap song "Se tocó el totico con mi glock."
Anuel AA is a two-time finalist for the 2026 Billboard Latin Music Awards. The awards ceremony is scheduled to broadcast live on October 22, 2026, from Miami, recognizing top artists in Latin music.
