Anderson's 25th Kimmel Host Gig: He Wants a Spider-Man Role!

For the 25th time, actor Anthony Anderson took the stage as the guest host of "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" on Monday night. During his monologue, Anderson playfully expressed his desire for a role in an upcoming Spider-Man movie, suggesting it was a fitting reward from Disney.

Anderson humorously critiqued the Spider-Man franchise, before questioning his own absence from the numerous films. He then seized the opportunity on Kimmel's platform to make a direct appeal to Disney for a part, even if it was just an extra.

To demonstrate his acting prowess, Anderson conducted an impromptu audition, complete with props. He convincingly portrayed a New Yorker cheering on Spider-Man during a battle. The actor jokingly concluded that this appearance was the least Disney could offer after his quarter-century of hosting duties.
