Ant McPartlin's Dog Hurley Passes Away After Custody Battle

Ant McPartlin recently experienced the heartbreaking loss of his dog, Hurley, who passed away this week. The presenter made a hurried departure from the Britain's Got Talent launch event to be by Hurley's side in his final moments. McPartlin and his ex-wife, Lisa Armstrong, who had a notable custody battle over Hurley after their 2018 divorce, jointly decided to euthanize their 12-year-old companion. This decision came after they learned Hurley was too ill to recover.

Hurley held significant importance in Ant McPartlin's life, having been credited with aiding his recovery from drink and drug addiction. The shared custody arrangement meant their chauffeur would transport Hurley between them to avoid direct contact. The pair adopted Hurley in 2013 during their 13-year marriage. While Ant welcomed a child, Wilder, in May 2024 with his current wife, Anne-Marie, and they also have two Maltipoos, Hurley remained a significant figure.
