Anna Kalyan: My Name is Konidala, Not Lezhneva

Anna Konidala, the wife of actor-politician Pawan Kalyan, has appealed to her social media followers to address her by her married surname. She clarified that while many recognize her as Anna Lezhneva, her official name changed to Konidala upon her marriage to Pawan in 2013. This request, she shared, has been on her mind since she joined Instagram but she found it challenging to articulate.

Konidala is the surname she feels most connected to. She explained that her marriage certificate was the last official document bearing the Lezhneva surname. Subsequently, she adopted her husband's surname. She shared a cherished photo from their initial trip together to Saint Petersburg, Russia, highlighting her desire for the name 'Anna Konidala' to be used, as it makes her feel most authentic.

Pawan Kalyan has been married previously, first to Nandini in 1997, followed by a marriage to actress Renu Desai in 2009. He later married Anna, who is of Russian origin, in 2013. The couple shares two children, Polena Anjana Pawanova and Mark Shankar Pawanovich.
