Ann Widdecombe Dies Aged 78

Ann Widdecombe, a former Conservative minister and a notable spokeswoman for Reform UK, has died at the age of 78. Her passing was announced by her management, who expressed their deepest sympathies to her loved ones. Widdecombe's extensive political career included 23 years as the Member of Parliament for Maidstone in Kent.

She later transitioned to become a prominent figure within Reform UK. Outside of her parliamentary duties, Widdecombe also gained public recognition for her participation in television reality programs.
