Animated Burger Band Rocks 300th Episode of Bob's Burgers

This Sunday, the long-running animated series Bob's Burgers will celebrate a major milestone, airing its 300th episode. To mark the occasion, the show has enlisted the help of actor and musician Jack Black, who has created an exclusive new music video titled "Grease and Fear."

The video features a chorus of animated hamburgers singing a harmonious la-la-la, before a power chord kicks in and Black, dressed in a burger costume, is revealed as the caped frontman of the band. In the dramatic song, Black sings about the dreams of burgers and how they can become "undone."

Bob's Burgers, which is now in its 16th season, has built a rich musical legacy over its nearly 14-year run on the air. The show's cast has performed hundreds of original songs, with the 2017 album "The Bob's Burgers Music Album" featuring 112 tracks from the first six seasons alone. The series has also featured musical performances from famous fans like The National, St. Vincent, Fiona Apple, and Sleater-Kinney.

The 300th episode, titled "Grand Pre-Pre-Pre-Opening," will bring Bob and Linda Belcher back to the beginning to tell the origin story of their burger dreams, as depicted in Black's new music video. The episode will also see the Belcher kids embark on a new musical project.
