His centenary play, "Beyond The Curtain," organized by Darpan, saw Rastogi performing as an aging actor reflecting on his life. The production incorporated a short film and photographs, highlighting his dual career as a scientist and his extensive work in over 70 films and OTT series.
Rastogi credits his wife, Sudha, for her unwavering support, assistance with dialogues, and selection of plays, which were crucial to his success since 1962. He also acknowledged Rajeshwar Bachchan for his mentorship in theatre.
