Set in Madhya Pradesh, 'Subedaar' centers on Arjun Maurya, a retired soldier facing the complexities of civilian life and strained family relationships. Anil Kapoor leads the ensemble cast, which also includes Radhikka Madan, Saurabh Shukla, and Mona Singh, among others.
Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap had previously lauded the film, lamenting that it deserved a theatrical release.
